The United Kingdom has stated that the Five anti -aircraft systems of Raven will transmit Ukraine. Earlier, the British patrates have already provided eight such installations that significantly intensified the Ukrainian air defense. About it reports British Forces Broadcasting Service.
In Britain, the details of the secret anti -aircraft systems that were transferred to Ukraine were first revealed. As you know, the system is named Raven, although Frankensam is also used.
According to British Forces Broadcasting Service, the complex itself was Developed by the idea of the Aviation and Space Center of the Royal Armed Forces in just 4 months, which have proposed to use the available Supercat HMT-600 base to install low range ASRAAM aviation missiles.
To create this system, the Royal Armed Forces specialists have worked closely with MBDA UK, which is the developer and manufacturer of the ASRAAM missile, as well as with Supercat, which is the manufacturer and developer of this modular car.
Raven first came to Ukraine in the spring of 2023, and since then the system has carried out more than 400 launches of missiles for targets such as Shahaned drone 136. The total efficiency was 70%. British Forces Broadcasting Service also said that the training of Ukrainian operators consisted of 40 soldiers who got acquainted with this system and after returning to Ukraine, they became instructors to train other military to use it.
