“In my opinion, this is not the answer, but the formality. It is not difficult to calculate these figures technically. At least by the date of birth for the specified period. But for some reason the authorities are in no hurry to disclose this information. And in my opinion, the reason is obvious,” – said Yaroslav Zheleznyak, commenting on the border guards.
According to Forbes, companies record the increase in the number of releases among men 18-22 years, especially in the field of retail trade and restaurant. For example, 20% of the state was at risk in the network of 10 establishments in Ternopil and Lviv. In the Silpo network, the number of applications for dismissal among 3000 young employees does not exceed 3%. This is most affected by an average salary companies about UAH 15,000, while employees with income of UAH 35,000-55,000 are mainly in place.
“The main economic priority is not to restrain young people from departure, but to ensure such conditions in Ukraine that training and initial professional activity look more attractive than work abroad,” – said the director of the Center for Economic Strategies Gleb Vyshlinsky.
The expert noted that according to the Institute of Demography, there are about 700,000 men aged 18-22 in Ukraine. Most of them are students. Even considering those who have stopped studying or combined with work, only 200-300 thousand in this category are involved in the labor market.
“Compared to all economically active population (about 13 million people according to the Pension Fund, of which 9 million are officially employed), the share of young men is only 2-3%. Even the mass departure of this group will not cause significant economic consequences. Youth: retail, construction, logistics, production in low -skilled positions, ”Gleb Vyshlinsky added.
We remind that since August 28, men of 18-22 years can cross the border only in the presence of a military accounting document.
