The Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Gennady Nadolenko passed the certificates of the letter to King Sultan Ibrahim Ibrahim Ibrahim and presented a symbolic gift – an exclusive Ukrainian embroidery. The diplomat reported this on his Facebook profile.
– In the life of each ambassador comes a landmark day – the moment of transfer of verdicts to the head of state. It is not only a diplomatic ceremony, but also a symbol of the beginning of a new stage of bilateral relations, confirmation of one’s own powers and opening prospects for joint projects. Today, such a day has become for me, ”the diplomat emphasized.
He noted that the “defining element” of the solemn event was the award of the King of the Designer Embroidery, developed by the official stylist of President of Ukraine Elvira Damirova. The shirt is made in the yellow-blue range of colors of the Ukrainian flag that embody the peaceful sky and fertile land. In the Malaysian tradition, the yellow shade is the color of the royal family, which gives a gift of special importance.
Elvira Damirov is a Ukrainian designer and founder of the Gasanova brand, official stylist of the First Lady of Ukraine. It is known for the development of modern images with complex symbols, where traditional Ukrainian elements are combined with current trends. Her collections were repeatedly demonstrated on London Fashion Week within the Support Ukrainian Fashion project that promotes Ukrainian fashion abroad even in wartime. Damir’s works are reproduced by the fate of displaced persons, women’s power and stability of Ukrainians, transforming the painful experience of war into a powerful artistic message.
