If housing is jointly owned: simplified the application for

In Ukraine, the procedure for obtaining compensation for the restoration of war-damaged housing, which is in joint ownership, has been optimized under the government program “eRecovery”, First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko said on Telegram on Wednesday, informs UNN.

Details “Today, the state has simplified the process of receiving payments under the eRenovation program for real estate objects that are jointly owned,” Svyridenko said.

According to her, from now on, if one of the owners has disappeared, does not maintain contact or does not contribute to the maintenance of the property, this will not be an obstacle to receiving assistance.

“Reimbursement will be able to be issued by another co-owner – according to an easier procedure without unnecessary delays,” the Premier emphasized.

This decision, according to her, will give citizens the opportunity to quickly start the restoration of the damaged housing and return it to operation, even if it was impossible to obtain the consent of all co-owners.

Also, according to her, the Cabinet of Ministers today allocates UAH 609 million to the Ministry of Development for “eRecovery”.

“Approximately 9,000 more Ukrainian families will receive compensation for the repair of houses damaged as a result of Russian aggression,” Svyridenko said.

In general, according to the Prime Minister, more than 116,000 families have already received payments for the restoration of damaged housing within the framework of the program “yetnovnelnya”.

For reference “is Restoration” is a state program of payments for damaged and destroyed housing. The launch of the “yesRecovery” initiative took place in 2023 and currently its application allows those affected to receive financial funds for current and capital restoration works and in the form of a housing certificate, thanks to which it is possible to purchase a new home instead of a completely destroyed one. It is also possible to submit requests for the allocation of compensation for reconstruction on one’s own land.

As of the beginning of 2025, 247,819 objects of damaged and destroyed property were recorded in the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property (RPZM), of which 222,424 were residential buildings.
