A friend of the famous singer Oleg Vynnyk, a musician and a military man, Roman Nedzelskyi made public information about the performer’s health and explained why he did not join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It informs UNN with reference to Roman’s interview, which he gave to blogger Natalia Vlashchenko.
According to Nedzelskyi, Vinnyk actively supported Ukrainian servicemen, however, ill will in social networks and public pressure had a detrimental effect on the singer’s physical condition. Roman also reported that Oleg suffered two heart attacks and painfully accepted the hostility towards him.
From the beginning of the war, he was one of the first to help our battalion. People are very bothered by the fact that someone shines. Oleg is self-sufficient, I visited him twice in Germany: I went to pick up cars and we saw each other. He survived this hate very hard. Oleg suffered one stroke, then another. Later, I came to him so that he could record an address to the patrons, and his face was crooked. He didn’t want people to see him like that. And he recovered in half a year
– said Nedzelsky.
The musician added that Vinnyk considered the possibility of serving in the “Cultural Airborne”, where other well-known artists already serve, and was optimistic, but the command rejected the prospect of Oleg’s service, because, according to the commanders, “it will be toxic” for them.
