President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi will visit Paris today, January 6, where he will take part in a meeting of the “coalition of the determined” and hold a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

According to the publication, Emmanuel Macron will receive Volodymyr Zelenskyi, as well as American special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on the eve of the “coalition of the determined” summit, which will be attended by 35 countries.
The main purpose of the meeting is to demonstrate the “convergence” of the positions of the US and European states in matters of security guarantees.
“We managed to achieve this act of rapprochement between Ukraine, Europe and America,” said one of the French president’s advisers.
Representatives of 35 countries are expected to participate in the summit, of which 27 will be represented by heads of state or government. Among the participants are Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Maloney and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. The presence of the leaders of NATO and the European Union is also predicted.
We will remind, Turkey will take part at the meeting of the “coalition of the determined” countries, which will take place on January 6 in Paris. The country will be represented at the negotiations by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan.
Before that, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi spent telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, in which they discussed the preparation for the meeting of the leaders of the “coalition of the determined”, which will take place on January 6. Zelenskyi emphasized the importance of coordinated actions in diplomacy and reaching fair decisions, in particular, regarding the frozen funds from the sale of “Chelsea”.
