President Volodymyr Zelenskyi on Friday, November 29, appointed the commander of the 93rd Kholodny Yar brigade, Pavel Palis, as the deputy head of the President’s Office.
He said this in an evening address published on Telegram.
“He also appointed Colonel Pavel Palis as the deputy head of the Office – combat commander, commander of the 93rd Kholodny Yar Brigade. He understands very well what is in the brigades, at the front, and I need just such a person to know exactly the information directly from the front on a daily basis,” Zelenskyi said.

Earlier, the Ukrainian president appointed the commander of the 95th separate amphibious assault brigade, Oleg Apostol, as the deputy commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, and Mykhailo Drapatoy as the new commander of the Ground Forces, replacing Oleksandr Pavlyuk.
What is known about Pavel Palisa – briefly
Palisa became the commander of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade Kholodny Yar in 2023. He commanded a brigade during the defense of Bakhmut.
