President Volodymyr Zelenskyy celebrated the professional holiday of Ukrzaliznytsia employees by awarding them with III degree “For Merit” orders and awarding them the honorary title “Honored Transport Worker of Ukraine”.

He emphasized the importance of railway workers in difficult times and their contribution to the work of the state.

The Railways of Ukraine is gradually restoring its routes, ensuring the transportation of passengers and goods even under fire. Since the beginning of the year, Ukrzaliznytsia has transported more than 135 million tons of cargo.

At the same time, more than 90% of passenger trains arrive on time, adhering to the schedule, despite the difficult conditions of wartime.

It will be recalled that Zelensky presented awards to military engineers.

Also, every Ukrainian will be able to travel three thousand kilometers by train for free.
