Zelenskyi approved the appointment of more than 30 Ukrainian ambassadors

On December 20, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi approved more than 30 decisions on the appointment of new ambassadors of Ukraine abroad.

Zelenskyi announced this in his evening address.

“Today, our diplomatic team approved the list of new Ukrainian ambassadors. I agreed to more than 30 decisions. Among them Nariman Dzhelal – to Turkey, Alyona Hetmanchuk – representative of Ukraine in NATO, Andriy Melnyk – representative of Ukraine in the UN. These and other decrees will be issued soon, according to diplomatic procedures,” Zelenskyy said.

It was previously reported that the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin is expected to receive the post of ambassador to the Netherlands.

US President Joe Biden has nominated former US Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey Payette to the title of Career Ambassador, which is the highest rank in the diplomatic service.
