In an interview with 60 minutes, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the US Vice President Ji Di Vance is not aware of the real situation in Ukraine and uses arguments similar to those who have been heard from Russian propaganda.
Zelensky explained that during meetings with American representatives, Kiev was forced to “justify himself for never doing.”
The President noted that Vance has repeatedly expressed his thoughts that could be interpreted as justifying the actions of the Russians, in particular, he spoke about the suffering of the Russians through the war and even questioned who started the conflict.
“We did not attract – this is the first. The Russians are aggressor, we are a victim. Everyone understands it, ”Zelensky emphasized.
He also noted that Vance expressed the position of allegedly “Russian” territories in which, according to Putin, the Russians live. The President emphasized that this rhetoric is reminiscent of Russian propaganda, and disappointed that the US Vice president does not understand what is happening in Ukraine.
Earlier, we wrote that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that since the beginning of April the Russian Federation has released almost 2800 aviation bombs across Ukraine, more than 1,300 shock drones, about 60 missiles of different types, including bal its studies. This can only be stopped with real pressure on the aggressor country.
We will also remind that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that as of today the number of the Ukrainian army is not enough to liberate large territories. However, the forces of defense are able to restrain the enemy.
