Zelensky signed a law on payment of assistance to the relatives of the dead in captivity

On July 28, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law that provides for the payment of one -time financial assistance in the amount of UAH 15 million to the families of the soldiers of the military, regardless of the cause of death. Zelensky reported this in the evening video. “I signed the law we were talking about with our native Ukrainians in Russian captivity, with our warriors who were released and returned”, – WRITE ON: ua.news

On July 28, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law that provides for the payment of one -time financial assistance in the amount of UAH 15 million to the families of the soldiers of the military, regardless of the cause of death.

Zelensky reported this in the evening video.

“I signed the law we were talking about with our native Ukrainians in Russian captivity, with our warriors who were released and returned home. The law restores justice, the law resolves the financial question – that the soldiers who are captured receive the same financial guarantees as all defenders of Ukraine, ”the President said.

On July 16, the Verkhovna Rada approved a bill, which provides for a one -time payment of UAH 15 million to the families of military people who were killed.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada approved amendments to the law, which guarantee servicemen the right to receive monetary compensation for all unused days of annual basic and additional leave in the event of dismissal from service during martial law.
