On the evening of January 9, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received a submission from President Volodymyr Zelenskyi regarding the dismissal of Vasyl Malyuk from the post of head of the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to him, the relevant submission has already been sent to the parliament and will be considered in the near future in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported on the meeting with Vasyl Malyuk. The head of state thanked him for his effective combat work and emphasized the need to continue to focus on conducting asymmetric operations against the Russian aggressor.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that he does not plan to replace the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybigu.
