According to Podolyak, there is a legal procedure that no one will give up. The martial law is currently continuing. After its completion, if it is voted in parliament, two procedures will be followed in parallel.
“The first is 3-6 months, rather 6 months, taking into account everything, preparation for the elections. That is, the organization of the process. And in parallel, changes to the legislation will be made. Because we understand that this postwar will be elections, there are some nuances, and the CEC has to offer changes to the legislation as such, ” – said the adviser to the chairman of the OP.
He stressed that until the ceasefire, until even a temporary truce, no one will cancel the martial law.

The adviser to the chairman of the OP added that it will be necessary to work on changes to the electoral law and then vote, which is a difficult process.

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine states that the period of renewal of public infrastructure and time is required to hold the elections after the election. They also emphasize a separate bill for elections after the war.
