The President said this in a video message, commenting on the detention of high-ranking officials of the Armed Forces by law enforcement officers, reports Ukrinform.
“There is good work by the Security Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the Prosecutor’s Office regarding justice in Ukraine, particularly in military cases. Both money-grubbing “military commissars” and the situation in Kharkiv Oblast, when the Russian army tried to occupy our land and re-enter Kharkiv, and criminal mistakes in the leadership of the brigades – all this requires investigation and fair answers,” the head of state said.
The President thanked the law enforcement officers for today’s steps, emphasizing: “It is important that people feel that the status or any merits of yesterday do not cancel the rule of law.”
