The US assistance for 2025 and 2026 will be $ 15 billion. Thanks to the subsoil agreement, if it is agreed, the funds for the next year can be received this year.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during communication with journalists.
“There are 15 billion (dollars, ed) in 2025 according to decisions that were (approved) by Congress a year ago. 15 billion – package for 2025, and weapons for this amount. There are also 15 billion that they broke into the 26th. Question – this money comes to you or does not reach. And it’s big money, 30 billion, ”he said.
According to the President, the question is whether thanks to the Foundation, now $ 15 billion, planned for 2026 to bring to 2025.
“For example, for the second half and get a weapon for 30 billion in 2025 and 2026, but now get,” Zelensky said.
According to him, these $ 30 billion will be the contribution of the US side to the investment fund.

Recall that Ukraine and the United States of America have signed an Economic Cooperation Agreement (“Subsoil Agreement”). The first Viceremier -Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko and US Department of Finance Scott Scott Bessent made their signatures.
The day before, US Finance Minister Scott Bessent said that the Ukrainian side had decided to amend the subsoil agreement before signing.
On April 17, Ukraine and the US signed a memorandum that captures the intention to finalize the agreement favorable for both parties. The Ministry of Economy has published the text of the document that defines the basic principles of future cooperation.
