President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that the consultations with the American delegation, which took place in Berlin, were detailed and effective, despite the complexity of the dialogue.

The head of state announced this during the closing of the German-Ukrainian economic forum.

According to him, talks with the US are never easy, but this time the parties managed to discuss many important details.

Zelensky emphasized that it is fundamentally important for Ukraine that the future peace be dignified and fair. He also stressed the need to continue diplomatic efforts to end the war.

The President added that in order to achieve the result, it is necessary to constantly work, meet and create conditions that will allow ending the war, while not forgetting who exactly brought it to Europe.

Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Ukraine does not conduct a direct dialogue with the Russian side, but that it is actually represented by the Americans.

Zelensky also commented on the possibility of creating a “demilitarized zone” in Donetsk region.
