President Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported on a meeting with volunteer Serhiy Sternenko, during which they discussed support for the Defense Forces and the development of the drone component of Ukraine’s defense.
According to the head of state, he thanked Sternenko for the help of the army and efforts in the field of drones. The parties discussed topical issues of volunteering, the need for legislative support for volunteering, as well as practical interaction with combat brigades.
Zelenskyi emphasized the importance of obtaining the most complete and real information from all levels and noted that following the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an urgent meeting regarding the critical state of the energy industry system of Ukraine paying special attention to the situation in Kyiv, where the consequences of Russian shelling and severe frosts have become the most severe in recent years. The government was instructed to revise the curfew rules for the period of abnormal cold.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that during an emergency situation in the energy sector, the curfew for some cities and communities may be canceled, where the situation allows.
