“But we, in Ukraine, have some people who are so hungry for power that they want to fight within our state more than for the sake of the state. They want political disputes in the trenches, like in TV studios…”, the president added and noted that this is harmful for our country.
First of all, Ukraine needs a just peace, and after that Ukrainians will hold presidential elections, the head of state said.
“You need to be able to put the common interest higher than any personal desires,” Zelensky noted.
Earlier, Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, noted that the country does not have any prerequisites for holding elections during the war, which continues with high intensity.
