Zelensky agreed to introduce a new sanction package against persons and companies that support the military-industrial complex, shadow fleet and energy sector Russian Federation .
About it reports decree President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The restriction was imposed against 37 individuals and 35 companies (one of Belarus). Among them:
- IT companies and their executives supplying solutions for hostile MIC,
- legal entities and beneficiaries involved in production of HRS and other equipment,
- Businesses and owners who organized imports bypassing sanctions.
This decision provides for economic and other restrictive measures, the control over the implementation of the NSDC and the relevant state bodies, and also provides for coordination with international partners to strengthen the efficiency of sanctions.
The European Commission plans to present the 19th package by September 12 sanctions against the Russian Federation.
Hungary and Slovakia stated that they may not support the extension of some individual sanctions, the extension of which expires on September 15. Six businessmen from the Russian Federation are asked to exclude from this list.
European Union is considering Ability to impose secondary sanctions, called not give third countries to help Russian Federation to evade already imposed restrictions.
