On Monday, September 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. In particular, he instructed the General Staff to improve the work of training centers.
Zelensky clarified that he had heard information about the situation at the front, as well as detailed intelligence reports about the intentions of the Russian occupiers and the situation in their ranks. Scouts noted a noticeable deterioration of discipline in Russian units.
Combat training centers were also discussed. Zelensky listened to the report of the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Defense Ihor Voronchenko.
“I instructed the General Staff to provide a list of measures to improve the work of the centers. The state is obliged to guarantee quality training to those who protect it,” he said.
During the meeting, they also discussed the current state of preparedness of engineering protection at critical infrastructure facilities and the calendar for the completion of works.
Zelenskyi added that they discussed the situation with drones against the background of the fact that the largest exporters of components for drones are introducing export restrictions.
“We know how to make sure that these restrictions do not become critical for us,” the president concluded.
