With the approach of sub-zero temperatures, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, held another meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. They talked about preparing Ukraine’s energy system for winter.

“Energy Rate”. Complex preparation for winter. Reports of all those involved in the process: Naftogaz, Ukrenergo, ministries of energy, internal affairs, development of communities and territories, Air Force, regional military administrations. All levels of protection of energy infrastructure: engineering, EW and air defense forces. Our aviation will take an active part. A decision was also made to strengthen air defense in the border and front-line regions,” Zelenskyi said.
He also noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented a plan of measures to respond to shelling and to promptly restore damage. Work on creating a decentralized network of cogeneration plants is ongoing.
