“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed decrees with new sanctions against Russian companies and individuals. In particular, the restrictions relate to the head of Rosatom Alexei Likhachev. It is reported in Presidential Decrees No. 268/2025 and No. 269/2025. of PJSC “Novatek””, – WRITE ON: ua.news
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed decrees with new sanctions against Russian companies and individuals. In particular, the restrictions apply to Rosatom’s head Alexei Likhachev.
This was reported in the decrees of President No. 268/2025 and №269/2025.
According to Decree No. 268/2025, sanctions were imposed against 36 legal entities, including:
- PJSC “Novolypetsky Metallurgical Combine” (NLMK) – one of the largest metallurgical plants of Russia;
- Novatek PJSC is the largest private gas company of Russia;
- LLC “Siborship-Himprom”-a large manufacturer of chemical products;
- Yamal LNG LLC is one of the largest products for natural gas liquefaction in Russia;
- JSC “Stoylensky GOK” is an important manufacturer of iron ore.
Sanctions also apply to six individuals, including Alexei Azarov, the son of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine, as well as Alexei Likhachev, Rosatom’s head since 2016.
The second decree provides for sanctions against 45 legal entities, including Russian “military-patriotic” organizations, “charitable foundations” and other structures that support aggression against Ukraine.
In addition, the restrictions were imposed against 61 people. Among them:
Volodymyr Grubnik is a Ukrainian surgeon and blogger, known for his pro -Russian position and the organization of a terrorist attack in the SBU building in Odessa in 2015;
Olga Davidko is a athlete, sentenced to 12 years in prison for justifying the military aggression of the Russian Federation and financing the Russian Armed Forces.
Earlier, we wrote that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy entered into force the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) of May 1, 2025 “On the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)”. The restrictions were imposed on the former adviser to Presidential Office Alexei Arestovich, blogger Miroslav Oleshko and others.
