The salary of President Vladimir Zelensky is 28 thousand UAH, and receives 21.5 thousand UAH from his hands. For 2024, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky declared UAH 336 thousand wages.

According to the declaration last year, the income of the head of state and its family members amounted to 15 million 286 thousand 193 hryvnias, in particular the income from repayment of the ATP – 8 million 585 thousand 532 UAH.
The income of the Volodymyr Zelensky family in 2024 consisted of the salary of the head of state, bank interest and income from leasing their own real estate. In total, this amount of income was 6 million 700 thousand 661 UAH.
The salary of the head of the country is unchanged since 2017, when this position has been held by Petro Poroshenko. The income of the head of state consists of a salary – 28 thousand UAH on a monthly basis. There are no other salaries (allowances, bonuses, etc.).
For the last five years, Zelensky has received 22 540 UAH of salary (after payment of all taxes and fees). For comparison, he received Poroshenko when he was president (for example, in March 2019 he received 22 540 UAH after payment of all taxes).
However, the painting with the salary of the country’s head has changed since December 2024. The presidential salary probably affected the taxes in Ukraine. Recall that since December 1, 2024, the deductions of military levy from citizens’ income increased from 1.5% to 5%.
Recall that today is the last day of the declaration for 2024. The declaration campaign lasts until 23:59 March 31, 2025. In 2023, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and his family earned more than UAH 12.4 million.
