The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed a decree extending the visa-free regime for citizens of Great Britain until January 30, 2027.

This is stated in publications on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

This decision will allow the British to freely enter Ukraine and cross its territory in transit.

The first visa-free regime for Britons was introduced in 2005, but it expired on February 1, 2020 due to Brexit.

The continuation of visa-free travel is important for the development of tourism, business relations and educational exchange between Ukraine and Great Britain. In addition, it will facilitate volunteering among Britons who seek to support Ukraine in wartime conditions.

It is also noted that this decision corresponds to Ukraine’s intentions to maintain a simplified entry procedure for citizens of other countries.

It is expected that the extension of visa-free travel will have a positive impact on international relations and the economy of Ukraine, contributing to the attraction of investments and the development of cooperation in various fields.
