Ukraine does not intend to create a nuclear bomb, because this decision will not be able to significantly change the situation at the front.
Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said this in a comment on the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.
“If this was really a decision that could definitely change what is happening at the front, then it would be possible, despite all the legal and reputational difficulties, to go for it. But this is not the decision that will give us significant changes on the front line,” Podolyak noted.
According to him, changes at the front will provide a sufficient number of weapons, in particular long-range weapons, as well as permission to strike deep into Russia.
“This will definitely give (changes at the front – ed.). And for this, we need investment support in military production and direct supply of weapons that are in warehouses,” added the advisor to the head of the OP.
It will be recalled that The Times wrote that Ukraine could develop a nuclear bomb within a few months if aid from the United States were to stop. Later, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine denied this information.
