According to Zelensky, negotiations with Mary were detailed and good. In particular, the President congratulated the chancellor on his appointment and wished success.
The President noted that Germany expects one of the key roles to support Ukraine – to protect Ukrainians now and to restore the country after the war is over.
“There is a great potential for partnership between Ukraine and Germany, and we have already agreed to work on the realization of many important things. The prospects for cooperation were discussed. The Chancellor assured the continuation of Ukraine’s support. It was important to hear that, ”he added.
Zelensky also added that working with the dead will work on a decent peace between Ukraine and Russia. The President and Chancellor are planning a schedule of contacts in the near future.
We will remind, Bundestag on May 6 approved the appointment of Chancellor Friedrich Martz. This was done on the second attempt.
