Representatives of Ukraine and the USA are working on a draft new subsoil agreement, and this document does not have a question of Ukrainian membership in NATO.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during communication with journalists, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

He noted that American and Ukrainian lawyers are currently working on the agreement.

At the same time, the Head of State responded to Trump’s recent statement that Ukraine allegedly wants to sign an agreement with the United States for NATO membership.

“As for this Agreement and NATO issues, there was no issue in this Agreement,” Zelensky stressed.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that he had heard from journalists about the intention of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to sign an agreement on Natra’s bowels for the sake of “NATO membership or something like”.

In addition, he repeated the thesis, which is often used in Russian propaganda, assuming that the topic of Ukraine’s accession to NATO could have caused the war.
