President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday, May 4, will probably make an unannounced visit to the Czech Republic.
This was reported by Czech Seznam Zpravy and Idnes.cz, citing sources in government circles.
There is no official confirmation of the visit by the Ukrainian or Czech parties. At the same time, the Czech President’s office reported that on Sunday the residence of the Head of State – the Prague Castle – will be closed for visitors from 11:00 to 4:30 pm local time. The media associate this with the preparation for the President of Ukraine.
According to Idnes.cz, the first lady Elena Zelenskaya will come to Prague with Zelensky. As part of the visit, meetings with Czech President Peter Pavel, Prime Minister Peter Fiala and Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky are planned.
Earlier, we wrote that the meeting of Trump and Zelensky in the Vatican was more positive for Ukraine due to the lack of such pro -Russian characters as Vice president Vance and the White House Messenger Steve Witcoff.
It should also be reminded that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law that is proposed to increase from UAH 1.9 million to 15 million UAH of payment for families of civilians, who died defending the state in the period from February-March 2022.
