The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, called on European countries to take specific actions to counter the financing of Russia’s war against Ukraine through oil.
The head of state said this during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“Europe likes to talk about the future, but avoids taking action today, the actions that will determine what kind of future we will have. That is the problem. Why can President Trump stop shadow fleet tanks and take oil, but Europe can’t?” – noted Zelensky.
The President emphasized the need for decisive measures to block the supply of Russian oil, which continues to finance military actions against Ukraine.
