Zelensky awarded Parubia the title of Hero of Ukraine

Earlier, the deputies of the Lviv Regional Council appealed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to posthumously award the title of Hero of Ukraine Scientific and Policy Irina Farion and the former Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy.

Writer Vladimir Vakulenko was killed During the Russian occupation of the Izium district of Kharkiv region. For a long time he was considered missing, but at the end of November last year, DNA expertise confirmed that one of the bodies found after the region’s de-occupation belongs to the writer. It was known that he was shot dead between March 24 and May 12, 2022.
