Zelensky awarded more than 800 soldiers, most of them posthumously

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored 857 defenders of Ukraine with state awards. At the same time, 472 of them were posthumous. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored 857 defenders of Ukraine with state awards. At the same time, 472 of them were posthumous.

The soldiers received the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, Danylo Halytskyi and “For Courage”, medals “For Military Service to Ukraine”, “For Impeccable Service”, “Defender of the Fatherland” and “For Saved Life”.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored another 252 defenders of Ukraine with state awards, 214 of them posthumously.

On Tank Troops Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored 48 defenders of Ukraine with state awards.

Also, during the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded her with the Order of Yaroslav the Wise “For Merit”.
