On May 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to the head of the Security Service Vasyl Mid.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to the dead defender Sergei Sovi. In Kiev, a mural was opened in honor of the youngest hero of Ukraine – he is dedicated to a soldier of the National Guard Globia.
