According to Palis, the issue of the contingent and its formation is being discussed with the allies. He explained that they mostly discuss the following aspects: powers and procedure in different domains – land, marine, air.
Ukraine, according to the deputy chairman, is interested in the most effective presence of partners in each of these areas.
He noted that whether it would be France, Britain or any other Rain, every unit that unfolds even in a conditionally friendly territory: should:
- have air defense system for air protection;
- ensure reliable logistics deployment;
- to have radio electronic struggle;
- coordinate interaction with the aviation component;
- In the case of a naval presence – to guarantee protection and protection of the sea forces.

Now, according to Palis, in Ukraine are preparing for a meeting on the contingent of military other countries. He noted that Ukraine expects the presence of 10-12 countries. Among them will be Britain, France, Baltic countries and Northern Europe.

Palis also explained why Ukraine is negotiating with France and Britain.
“Because these countries have expressed their willingness to take on the leadership in this process,” – emphasized the deputy head of OP.
He added that the most important now is the presence of political will and military capacity for the formation of a peacekeeping contingent.
On March 27, another summit of the peacekeeping coalition was held in Paris. It was attended by representatives of the EU, Great Britain, Canada, Norway, Turkey, as well as President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The previous two Samites were organized by the United Kingdom.
The Allies have already agreed that the French-British mission will go to Ukraine, which will work on the strengthening of the Ukrainian army.
France took the initiative of the deployment of peacekeeping forces in the central part of Ukraine, probably along the Dnieper River.
