President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law that allows Ukrainians over 60 years to voluntarily serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under contract during martial law.
The main condition is that the candidate must be recognized as suitable for the Military Medical Commission, as well as written consent from the commander of the military unit.
If you are willing to serve under a contract at the age of 60+ claims an officer’s office, his candidacy is additionally approved by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
After signing the contract for each such military, a two -month probationary period is set – in the event of a non -compliance, the contract will be terminated.
