President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Hungary has repeatedly tried to interfere with the internal affairs of our country – in particular, through illegal certification and activities of military intelligence.
The Head of State spoke about it in an interview for the Hungarian edition “Válasz Online”, providing specific details of the latest investigations.
According to Zelensky, Budapest used dozens of different ways to influence the situation in Ukraine. In particular, before the full -scale war, Ukrainian special services stopped illegal issuance of Hungarian passports in Transcarpathia.
Most of these incidents, the President emphasized, were decided quietly – without public publicity, through negotiations between the parties.
Zelensky paid special attention to the activities of the Hungarian military intelligence Knbsz. He stated that in May 2024, the Ukrainian special services managed to expose the agent network that has been in operation since 2021.
Since the beginning of 2024, this network has become interested in military issues – in particular, the placement of Ukrainian air defense systems, the positions of military units, as well as the attitudes of the residents of Transcarpathia on the possible emergence of peacekeeping forces.
The last transmission of information from KNBSZ agents was recorded on March 25, 2024. Zelensky emphasized that the Ukrainian side has photos and videos of various meetings organized by representatives of the Hungarian Military Military Service of National Security in Hungary.
