This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky against the background of information about Vladimir Putin’s territorial demands.
Zelenskyi emphasized that long-term cooperation and real results from Europe are now needed both in the short and in the longer term. The president said that he communicates with the leaders almost every day to ensure a common European position on the “correct pressure” on Russia. “We will not give anything to the aggressor, and we will not forget anything to them. We clearly see that this Russia is a long-term threat,” he said.
Zelensky’s statement appeared after the publication of The Washington Post, which reported that Putin, in a conversation with Donald Trump, allegedly demanded from Ukraine full control over Donetsk region in exchange for allegedly renouncing claims to the remaining unoccupied Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
