The officer explained that many public figures who join the Armed Forces quickly become commanders thanks to their own qualities, but often miss the opportunity to feel the “satisfaction of doing their own work” on the front lines.
“It is an incomparable feeling when you found a position for Stugna under fire, set it up, hid it, and your calculation came true – a tank is coming at you, and you direct a rocket into it with your own hand. And this monster is embraced by your fire… Kaif,” Chornovol wrote.
According to her, public people in the army often try to maintain their status from the first day, which does not allow them to fully experience the real front-line experience.
She admitted that she herself fought for the right to “just be a fighter and work in positions.”
The officer emphasized that she offered Yermak the opportunity to personally participate in hostilities and “minus the katsapnia” as a gift, but he did not take advantage of the opportunity.
