On September 21, a fake post appeared in the blog of activist and entrepreneur Yana Matviychuk, which contained favorable Kremlin messages, who condemned attacks on the objects of the Russians in Foros, representing them as strokes of the Armed Forces on “peaceful civilian objects”. It was later revealed that the account was broken by the Russian special services for the spread of misinformation.
This is stated in the post of Yana Matviychuk on Facebook.
Matviychuk immediately reported that she had nothing to do with the fake publication and broke her account. The UP editorial staff promptly removed the material in less than 30 minutes after publication. However, in this short period of time, the Kremlin media synchronously spread the report of “condemnation” by the Ukrainian blogger of the Armed Forces, which indicates a centralized information and psychological operation.
According to Matviychuk, the purpose of the operation was obvious: to discredit it personally and “to create the illusion that Ukrainian activists condemn the Armed Forces.” The activist categorically stated: “I condemn the aggression of the Russian Federation … I approve and support the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces in Muscovy, if it is indeed strikes of the Armed Forces. No diversions will break my position. ” She urged Ukrainians to check sources, adhere to information hygiene and protect accounts using two -factor authentication, emphasizing that “information war is as real as artillery.”
