In 2024, the number of mobile phone numbers ported within the MNP service increased to 340.63 thousand – 2.3 times compared to the figure of 2023. They mainly transferred numbers from “Kyivstar” to “Lifecell”.
This follows from a notice on the website of the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the fields of electronic communications, radio frequency spectrum and the provision of postal services (NKEK).
According to the agency, in 2024 the largest donor was Kyivstar, from which 60% (207.1 thousand numbers) were ported, in second place with 32% (109.53 thousand) PrJSC “VF Ukraine” (“Vodafone Ukraine “), on the third place with 6.7% (22.88 thousand) is the mobile operator LLC “Lifecell” – lifecell, which is part of the DVL group.
In 2024, the most numbers from other operators were transferred to Lifecell LLC – 79% (269.76 thousand), VF Ukraine PJSC (“Vodafone Ukraine”) – 15.88% (54.11 thousand), and “Kyivstar” – 4.7% (16.16 thousand).
It was previously reported that the number of mobile phone numbers transferred within the scope of the MNP service during the five years of its operation (May 1, 2019 – May 1, 2024) reached 468.17 thousand. By the end of 2024, the figure will increase to 517,000.
It will be recalled that on December 16, the telecom regulator recorded a record 17,012 applications for number porting, while previously an average of 4,500 portings per day was recorded. Prior to that, there was an increase in the rates of mobile operators Kyivstar and Vodafone.
