In March 2025, warm weather is predicted in Ukraine, with an average monthly temperature of 1-7 degrees Celsius, which is 1-1.5 degrees higher than normal. This means that March will be warmer than February, when the temperature varied from -3 degrees to +2 degrees.
Predicted precipitation in March will be 22-42 mm across the country, and in the Carpathians up to 50-74 mm in places, which is less than normal.
According to many years of observations, the average temperature of March is traditionally 0-6 degrees Celsius, and in the highlands of the Carpathians-about 3 degrees frost. The absolute minimum temperature in March can reach -20 …- 37 degrees in most territory, while in Transcarpathia and south, the temperature can decrease to -10 …- 27 degrees. The maximum temperature in March can reach 19-29 degrees Celsius, and in the Carpathians-14-16 degrees Celsius.
Rainfall in March usually ranges from 26-51 mm, and in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia can reach 56-106 mm, up to 135 mm in the highlands.
