Monday, June 23, will bring the weather to Ukrainians – forecasters warn of “short -term rains”, thunderstorms and increased wind.
According to Ukrhydromet Center, precipitation will take place in several regions, except the western and northern regions. In the afternoon, the east, the southeast, as well as the Poltava and Sumy regions will be covered.
Thunderstorms are possible in the eastern regions in the afternoon, and in most central regions. Because of this, the first (“yellow”) level of danger was announced.
The wind in Ukraine will prevail in the northwestern direction at a speed of 7-12 meters per second.
In the central and southern regions, gusts can reach 15-20 meters per second, which can complicate the situation on the roads and create additional risks for residents of these regions.
The air temperature at night will be 9-14 degrees Celsius, in the south – up to +17 degrees. During the day, the air warms up to 19-24 degrees, and heat is expected in the west and south – from 23 to 28 degrees.
The most comfortable weather in the western regions, where thermometers columns will rise to +29.
In Kiev, on June 23, the changing cloudiness is forecast. At night it is possible for short -term rain, in the afternoon – without precipitation. The temperature in the capital will be +20… +22 degrees, at night – +11… +13. Northwest wind, 7-12 m/s.
A similar situation is expected in the region: in the afternoon up to +24, at night – up to +14.
Forecasters are urged to be careful during bad weather, especially in regions where thunderstorms and strong winds are expected.
Drivers are advised to be careful on the roads, and residents should avoid staying under trees and advertising structures during wind gusts.
