According to “Ukrhydrometeorological Center”, night rains and strong gusts of wind are waiting for residents of Western, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
In the afternoon, precipitation will spread to almost the entire territory of Ukraine, except for the eastern regions, although the rains will be more intense in the southern, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The wind is forecast mainly from the southwest direction at a speed of 7 to 12 meters per second, and in the Carpathians, gusts of up to 15–20 m/s are expected in places, which may complicate the situation in mountainous areas.
The air temperature at night in most regions will reach from 1 to 6 °C, during the day the thermometers may rise to 8–13 °C. In the south of the country, the night will be slightly warmer — from 3 to 8°, and the daytime temperature will reach 12–17°.
In the Carpathians, not only rain is expected, but also a little wet snow, which is especially important for tourists and local residents.
The temperature in the mountains at night will remain close to zero, during the day it will warm up to 1–6°C, but difficult weather conditions may create additional risks for travelers.
In the capital of the country — Kyiv — the night will pass without precipitation, but during the day the townspeople can expect a little rain. Forecasters emphasize: the wind will be southwesterly with a force of 7–12 m/s. Temperature indicators will remain quite comfortable — 3–5° warm at night, 10–12° during the day.
