This was reported by sources at Antonov JSC. The plane was stuck at the airfield after Canadian airspace was closed to Russian aircraft due to sanctions imposed after the war began.
The confiscation process through a Canadian court is expected to take about six months, after which the Canadian government will hand over the vessel to Ukraine as part of military aid. “Antonova” specialists have already inspected the plane and confirmed its perfect technical condition.
