The State Emergency Service has given advice on safe swimming in puddles, writes the press service of the department.
Swimming in icy water can be dangerous, so experts advise to be attentive and careful: choose only safe places, pay attention to your health and follow safety rules.
“Let prudence and responsibility become the basis of a calm celebration,” the security services emphasized.
The State Emergency Service advises to refrain from attending mass events and strictly comply with the requirements and restrictions established during martial law.
Epiphany is one of the most important Christian holidays in Ukraine. On this day, believers remember the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River, sanctify the water and observe ancient church and folk traditions.
We will remind, on January 2, 2026, Orthodox Christians honored memory of Saint Sylvester I, Pope of Rome. He is one of the spiritual leaders of the early Church, whose service fell on the time when Christianity came out of the underground and became an openly professed faith. The saint’s day is associated with prayer, gratitude and inner renewal.
