Doctor of Philosophy in the field of law Alexei Shevchuk During the press conference he emphasized the importance of the role of the National Lobbying Association in shaping a new profession.
He emphasized that although the National Anti -Corruption Agency (NACC) is only a holder of the register of transparency, it is the Association that brought together scientists and specialists who are understood in lobbying and training.
Shevchuk directly addressed the head of the NAPC calling:
“I would ask Mr. Pavloshchyk … to mention more often that there is a national association of lobbyists of Ukraine, which is represented by experts, scientists who are understood in lobbying …”
He noted that neither the lobbying law nor the rules grant the NACC to hold lobbyists. That is why, according to him, the formation of a self -regulatory community, which will receive a future profession, a separate code of economic activity and will form quality standards for future lobbyists of Ukraine.
The lobbying and advocacy program is not taught in any Ukrainian higher education institution. Deputy Chairman of the Association Board Irina Shapovalova noted that the course is an exclusive opportunity to gain unique knowledge and a new, modern profession.
