Currently, all roads of state importance in the region are open to traffic. Oleksandr Koval, head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, reports this to Telegram.
According to him, traffic on the track is already fully open. The head of OVA published a video from a section of the road near the village of Zeleny Gai, where on Thursday, January 8, a large number of cars piled up due to difficult weather conditions. “Traffic on the highway Kyiv — Chop has been fully restored,” Koval said.
He noted that the road was cleared thanks to the continuous work of road services during the night, as well as due to the patience and understanding of drivers who were stuck in a traffic jam. “Thanks to the work of highwaymen throughout the night, as well as the understanding of drivers, the road was cleared,” the OVA head emphasized.
According to the information of the regional authorities, currently all roads of state importance on the territory of Rivne Oblast are through roads. At the same time, traffic remains difficult on some regional roads due to weather conditions.
77 units of special equipment are used to provide traffic on highways of state and regional importance in the region. Road services continue to clean the surface and treat the roads with anti-icing materials.
All services work in an enhanced mode and remain on duty to promptly respond to possible traffic complications, Koval added.
