The driver, identified as Eduard Pukanych, born in 1987, collided with the border guard, injuring him. The border guard is in the hospital, but, according to preliminary information, without serious injuries. After Pukanych demolished the barrier at the entrance, he continued his journey by demolishing another barrier at the exit.
This case caused a significant response, as the man who evaded mobilization had previously worked as a lawyer and had been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since June 2025. Further steps of the law enforcement officers remain unknown.
