Approaching the border, the intruders, obviously, to be less visible, decided to split into two groups. However, border guards discovered them.
First, the border squad of the “Khyzha” department detained four residents of Zakarpattia, Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Vinnytsia regions 100 meters from the border.
Two more citizens of Ukraine accompanied by a “guide” were stopped by servicemen of the “Dyula” branch 50 meters from the state border.
Six men aged 24 to 44 decided to enter Romania illegally, and to carry out their plan they turned to a ferryman from Transcarpathia, whom they found through mutual acquaintances.
According to the agreement, the men arrived in Zakarpattia, where they were met by a ferryman and accommodated in a private residence, and later led to the border. Illegal border crossing services cost them from 4,500 to 12,000 US dollars.
Administrative materials for offenses were filed against the detainees. The border guards informed the police about the detection of signs of a crime in the actions of the Transcarpathian.

Earlier, in Lviv Oblast, the channel of illegal transportation of men of conscription age across the Ukrainian-Romanian border, which was organized by an active serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who escaped from his unit and was wanted, was eliminated. Earlier, two men from Kyiv were exposed, who organized a large-scale scheme for the sale of counterfeit fuel. They face up to 10 years in prison.
