In Kyiv, next to the Motherland-Mother sculpture in the War Museum, the “Light a fire” action dedicated to 1000 days of war took place.

Participants, including military and civilians, lit 1,000 candles, honoring the memory of the dead. As part of the event, the band of the Armed Forces of Ukraine performed, and the military chaplain led a joint prayer, emphasizing the struggle for Ukraine’s independence.

Earlier we wrote that the activists of the public resistance movement “Yellow Ribbon” raised the national flag of Ukraine at the highest point of Baidarskaya Yayla – on the rocky massif of Ilyas-Kai, which is located near Sevastopol in the occupied Crimea.

We would also like to remind you that the “Empty Chairs” action was held in Kyiv on Sofia Square in support of journalists, writers, cultural figures and human rights defenders who have disappeared, were imprisoned or are in Russian captivity.
