The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk has already signed a law on strengthening the powers of NABU and SAP.

“The law passed before it signed,” Stefanchuk said during a meeting of the Council.
The document will now be submitted to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, and the law will come into force the next day after its publication in the Parliamentary newspaper “Voice of Ukraine”.
Last time, when the Council approved the scandalous bill No. 12414 on the restriction of the independence of anti -corruption bodies, the VRU Chairman and the President of Ukraine signed their signatures quickly enough, in particular on the day of voting.
The procedure is expected to be fast this time. The people’s deputies cast 326 votes for the draft law to be signed immediately.
Today, on July 31, the Verkhovna Rada voted in favor of President Vladimir Zelensky’s bill on the independence of NABU and the SAP.
As of July 30, six alternative draft laws were registered on the website of the Verkhovna Rada to Presidential Initiative No. 13533.
